Our full-day welding workshops are open to anyone curious about welding whether you’re starting from scratch, brushing up old skills or exploring a new career path. This 100% practical course gives you the confidence to weld safely with plenty of one-to-one guidance throughout the day. You’ll leave with the skills and confidence to make your own repairs, take on small projects or move toward employment in the trade.
Plus, if you have something that needs a repair, bring it along with you and we’ll tackle the repair together on the day.

What you’ll learn:
- MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Working with aluminium and steel
- Common weld joints: butt welds, T-fillet, pipe to plate and more
- How to approach and complete welding repairs
- Understanding and setting up your welding equipment

Our workshops are 100% practical and designed to get you welding confidently by the end of the day.
What to bring with you on the day:
Please bring your own PPE including safety boots, overalls, a welding mask and welding gloves. If you don’t have a mask, gloves or overalls they can be provided.

Hot batch with a cuppa on arrival.
