A Christmas Wish is our quiet, annual tradition: a fund we build throughout the year to support individuals facing real hardship at Christmas.
We work in partnership with local charities and debt advice agencies to identify people who are truly in need: discreetly, respectfully, and without fanfare.
There’s no spotlight, no publicity. Just help, delivered most the time anonymously with compassion and care.
Having faced a really difficult time one Christmas and one amazing individual anonymously posted some money through my door that saved me, and from that moment on my Christmas Wish will be that the money i received that night will forever be paid forward in Random Acts Of Kindness each Christmas. ❤️
What We Do
- We identify very worthy individuals in need of support through trusted community partners.
- We clear a critical burden, whether it’s a long-standing debt, Christmas essentials or “A Christmas Wish” needs to just bring good to a certain special individual this Christmas.
- Deliver support anonymously, without recognition or expectation.
- Raise money through giving up time each week, tips collected throughout the year & a yearly 24hr Weldathon (Welding for 24hours and all money raised in that time goes to the charity)
So far we have….
- We have made 5 families anonymously debt free Christmas eve.
- Supplied 1 debt agency worker for CAP, for 1 year to work helping people struggling to clear debt.
- Bought the present of choice to all 57 residents whilst my dad was in his care home.
- A local woman had been in a woman’s shelter with her child for 4 years and was blessed to finally have her own 1 bedroom apartment. she moved in with nothing so we anonymously supplied the funds to pay for all her furniture.
And this Christmas….
- We have so far paid for a charity dear to my hearts Christmas party.
- We have covered the bill for a special local residential care homes entertainment events for the year.
- And for once this year I will be surprising 2 very special people who just need to be on the end of a bit of good luck this year.
But you guys have made me raise the bar even further with such amazing support this year, so………
Having already been able to help a lot of people this Christmas and with the unbelievable support and I received from so many amazing people around me and online……I really would love to make one more Christmas wish come true for some amazing people in the new year❤️
So, on Friday 2nd January @12pm I will be Skydiving 14000 ft to raise money for Henry Court residential care home in Coventry. To raise money towards getting a vehicle to help take these amazing people on day trips throughout the year, like the seaside etc, which is something they are unfortunately not able to do with no transport to take them anywhere. ❤️
I am literally terrified of heights, I even lay down on the big wheel at Alton towers😨😂but the care, support & strength this amazing place has given my family over the last 5 mths, I really, just want to do something special to repay them for their continued support.❤️
I would love your support in whatever form it looks, but the one thing I can promise you, is that even the smallest Random Act Of Kindness will light someone’s darkest day .❤️❤️❤️
